Breaking news re privilege claim before Congress is reporting Bank of America did not meet the deadline to turn over documents to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The Committee had given the bank until noon today to turn over documents related to legal discussions BofA had with outside counsel before and after it absorbed Merrill Lynch in Dec. 2008. The bank resisted, saying the documents are protected by attorney-client privilege
