Should Lawyers Blog (Or Twitter) About Their Cases?
Attorney and popular blogger Eric Turkewitz has posted a short comment on the debate on whether practicing lawyers should write about their current cases, particularly while the cases are on-going. While some attorneys argue that it is important and informative for the public to get "inside" information about exactly what it is that lawyers do on a daily basis, others argue that it is improper or, at least, dangerous because there is always the risk of disclosing confidential information that could harm the client's interests.
