How not to practice law: get clients to give you title of their house so they avoid foreclosure, then get them evicted
The Legal Profession blog is reporting today (here) that the New York Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department suspended an an attorney for four years for having his clients convey title to their home to him in order to avoid foreclosure and later evicting the clients while continuing to represent them in a family court matter.
