Back in October I reported that after a number of instances of prosecutorial misconduct or ineffectiveness in high profile cases, the Dept of Justice announced plans to prevent prosecutorial misconduct (here).
Today, the Blog of the Legal Times is reporting that the DOJ has issued three memos—including a detailed guidance memo for all federal prosecutors—that set forth the steps the department has taken and will take to ensure that prosecutors assess and meet their obligations when it comes to sharing information with criminal defense lawyers.
