Another case of a lawyer sleeping during trial

You may remember the decision of a Court of Appeals in Texas a few years ago found no ineffective assistance of counsel even though the defendant's attorney slept through part of the trial. Based on this questionable precedent the Arkansas Supreme Court decided the same way. In this case, however, there was more than one counsel for the defendant and apparently at least one of them was awake at all times. The blog Law of Criminal Defense has a report here.
